In his fine dining restaurants, Chef Michael served Jambalaya in cast iron pots, drawing inspiration from Spain’s paella. In 2007, while envisioning a fast-casual spin-off of his New Jersey restaurant, he crafted the Jamburrito—a Cajun/Creole-style burrito. Combining the first three letters of “Jambalaya” with “burrito,” the name “Jamburrito” was born. This innovative creation wraps the rich flavors of New Orleans into a portable, mouthwatering meal that delights the taste buds and satisfies the soul. The menu consists of fresh grilled, sauteed & blackened delicacies, from Louisiana, served in a burrito, bowl, or taco.
Our menu is designed to be simple and customizable, You can choose from four main dishes: Jamburritos, Bowls, and Tacos. From there, select your center plate item—ranging from Chicken Creole, Carne Asada, Blackened or Fried Catfish, BBQ Shrimp, or Southwestern Veggies—and add your choice of hot and cold toppings, such as Cajun Brown Rice, Creole Roasted Corn Salsa, Cajun Sour Cream and other specialty items.
